Performance. Hospitality. Stewardship. Peace of Mind.

Mammoth has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I’ve been making the drive up Highway 395 since I was a kid. Back then, I didn’t know the names of the mountains, I just knew they were huge, and seeing them meant we were getting close. After dozens of trips over the years, I came to know them by name: Bloody Mountain, Mount Morrison, Laurel Mountain, and the Sherwins. Even today, seeing those peaks still gives me that same feeling that we’re almost there.

Most of our trips were late-night arrivals, so I couldn’t really see the mountains, except for the silhouettes. My mom would pack my brother and me into the car after finishing a full day of teaching, and we’d drive straight through from Huntington Beach, usually rolling into Mammoth around midnight. I still remember the night managers wherever we stayed, the way they’d welcome us, help us get settled, and make us feel at home after a long drive. Looking back, I realize those moments shaped me more than I knew at the time. They taught me that great hospitality isn’t complicated. It’s simply making people feel cared for.

Years later, I returned to Mammoth for what was intended to be an eighteen-month assignment, overseeing property management operations associated with the proposed Mammoth Crossing development. Although the project ultimately did not move forward following the real estate downturn, those eighteen months changed the course of my life. Mammoth became home.

That opportunity led to a career in hospitality spanning about 14 years. I first managed Sierra Lodge, a high-volume hotel, where I learned the importance of operational consistency, team leadership, and delivering an exceptional guest experience every single day. I later spent eight years as General Manager of Sierra Meadows Ranch, overseeing vacation rental operations, owner relations, guest experience, property care, and the countless details that help vacation homes perform at their best.

Along the way, I became deeply involved in the Mammoth community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce, participating in Rotary (also serving on the Board), and co-founding the Mammoth Rocks music festival, which has grown into one of Mammoth’s signature summer traditions.

Over the course of my hospitality career, I’ve had the privilege of helping oversee approximately 4,000 guest arrivals and stays across hotels and professionally managed vacation rentals while maintaining a 4.89/5 Airbnb guest rating. Those experiences have reinforced a simple belief: exceptional guest experiences don’t happen by accident—they’re the result of thoughtful systems, responsive communication, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.

I’ve always believed that vacation homes deserve to be managed with the same care and attention we’d expect for our own. Everhaus was built around that philosophy.

I believe homeowners deserve more than someone to simply list their property online. They deserve a trusted partner who understands hospitality, thoughtful operations, and the responsibility that comes with caring for a home that often holds years of family memories. Great management isn’t measured only by occupancy or revenue. It’s reflected in the confidence owners feel knowing their home is being cared for, their guests are well looked after, and the countless details behind the scenes are being handled with professionalism and integrity.

Although my family now calls Washington home, I remain actively involved in Mammoth through regular owner visits, property inspections, and ongoing collaboration with our Mammoth-based team. We intentionally built Everhaus with a local presence because we believe owners deserve responsive, on-the-ground support backed by experienced leadership and a genuine connection to the community.

My goal is simple: to help homeowners enjoy everything that makes owning a Mammoth vacation home special while trusting that every detail behind the scenes is being handled with care. Whether it’s creating exceptional guest experiences, protecting the long-term condition of a home, or simply giving owners greater peace of mind, that’s the standard we strive to deliver every day.
